How Kinsmen Corporate Services collects, uses and protects your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

This policy explains how Kinsmen Corporate Services (“Kinsmen”, “we”, “us”), a partnership firm at Shop No. 1, Nabha Malerkotla Road, Amargarh 148022, District Malerkotla, Punjab, handles personal data collected through www.kinsmen.in and while providing our services. We act as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

  • Enquiry details you type into our forms: name, mobile/WhatsApp number, email address, type of entity, the service you are interested in, urgency and your message.
  • Job applications: your name, contact details, the role you are applying for and your CV or profile link.
  • Service documents you choose to share once you engage us, such as PAN, Aadhaar, GSTIN, financial statements, bank statements and incorporation papers.
  • Basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, through our hosting provider and, where enabled, website analytics.

We do not ask for passwords, card numbers or bank login details on this website.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and call or message you about it.
  • To prepare quotes and deliver the services you engage us for, including filings on government portals made on your behalf.
  • To coordinate with independent practising professionals (for example a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary or registered valuer) where the law requires their signature, and only with the documents needed for that work.
  • To send deadline reminders or updates you have asked for.
  • To keep the website secure and understand which pages are useful.
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as record keeping.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or engage us, and for legitimate uses permitted under Section 7 of the DPDP Act.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the website and receive enquiries: Cloudflare (hosting and security), FormSubmit (delivers form submissions to our email), Google (email and, where enabled, Google Analytics) and WhatsApp/Meta when you choose to message us there.
  • Independent professionals and government portals needed to complete the work you engage us for (for example GSTN, the Income Tax e-filing portal or MCA21).
  • Authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not turn into an engagement: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client records and documents: for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards for the period required under tax, company and other applicable laws (generally up to 8 years).
  • Job applications: up to 12 months.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
  • Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your data, unless we must keep it by law.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect processing already done, but we may not be able to continue a service that needs the data.
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
